What is Amygdalin and how does it work

Amygdalin (B17) / Laetrile is naturally found in bitter apricot seeds.  These seeds have been eaten by the Honza people of northern Pakistan for centuries and this community have been studied for decades and it was discovered that this community does not exhibit any abnormal cels (cancer) at all, ever. They eat on average about 50 seeds a day. Each seed contains on average 20mg of Amygdalin (B17).

Amygdalin is a nitriloside that Dr Krebs named B17 because it closely resembles a B vitamin structure and it contains the following molecules in its structure:

• 2x Glucose
  
• 1x cyanid (locked version)- inert & needs an enzyme to become a free radical.
• 1x benzaldehyde

This locked version of cyanid in B17 is released into its free radical form only by the enzyme Beta Glucosidase.  Within abnormal human cells, Beta Glucosidaise is at a 100x concentration compared to normal cells.  The amount of this enzyme in normal cells is not enough to unlock the cyanid in the B17 structure.  However, the concentration of Beta Glucosidase in abnormal cells is enough to unlock the "locked" cyanid within the B17 structure and is synergistically toxic to the abnormal cells only, destroying them.  The destroyed cells are eventually flushed out the body.  B17 can therefore be compared to a "heat seeking missile" with only abnormal cells as its target - it's the bomb for abnormal cells.

HOW TO USE

For early on set supplementation: Use 1/day during 1st week; 2/day second week; 3/day from 3rd week onwards. Most people can tolerate 3/day from start, however, please "listen" to your body and adjust accordingly.
